Deep Blue

This scene is of a ship lying at anchor in Dundalk Bay taken on an amazing afternoon in November 2011. Standing on Giles Quey on the Carlingford peninsula the sea was dead calm and the sky had this blue haze which seemed to colour everything this blue colour as you look at the Co. Louth coastline you can see it is a blue haze. I only tweaked the contrast a bit to give this deeper blue. Catching the seagull was an added bonus but his reflection on the water baffles me as the Sun was to the right of the photo. I think some sort of weather phenomenon may have been going on?
